| When we moved to our new home we really had no idea that we were actually going to discover a gold mine of delicious places to eat, shop and hang out…just a few blocks away! Asian food, coffee, ice cream, sandwiches, pizza, BBQ, beer, etc… all of this is available to us in a very small area just a couple of blocks away. GO SOUTH INGLEWOOD!!!! One place that we love visiting is the Village Pub. The first time we went we had a beer and a stuffed pretzel and we loved it! While we were there, Leslie saw a sign saying that they had live music on Tuesdays and Sundays, so she asked if she could sing and she got a gig. The first time she sang she brought a great crowd (thanks to all of those who came, and for those who haven’t been able to attend we hope you can make it in the future) and the owner dug the music and the fact that she is a “local” so he asked her to come back. And now here we are, a second show at the Village Pub, many friends came to enjoy the music, the beer, and the food! Choripan and Chupete got to come as well (yes! A dog friendly pub!) and we even go a chance to sell some Chupete shirts. Overall it was a great night, and even though it was very hot outsid we all did our best to stay cool and forget about the heat by drinking more beer. |

Great to see the videos. I love how the ceiling fan adds vibrato to the sound on Nothing But the Wheel…..Glad we turned it down later!
Such a great show!! Stuffed pretzels, frosty beverages, great music, and good friends… so fun! And I love the pictures, Javi — nice work!
