Trip to Cinci!

A couple weekends ago Javi and I drove to Cincinnati to visit our friends Danielle and Chris and take their engagement photos. We left early Saturday morning after dropping our pups off at the Dog Spot and made it to Cinci by around 2:30. We didn’t waste any time getting to the photoshoot – Cinci has a ton of beautiful places for photos including maybe the most beautiful cemetery / park I’ve ever seen! It may sound a little odd to take engagement photos in a cemetery but it was so picturesque and we weren’t the only one with the idea to take photos there that afternoon – the place was flooded with photographers walking around with families or wedding parties all over the grounds. We saw 3 wedding parties at least!

After a few picturesque locations we decided to head downtown for a few photos in the city and then took a pit stop at a little bar / restaurant called Arnolds where Dani and Chris are going to have their rehearsal dinner in April. The food and beer there were awesome and we took a few more photos there at the bar before the place started filling up, then walked around downtown taking more urban photos and grabbed some Graeter’s ice cream (that I miss so much! Wish we had Graeter’s in Nashville – it’s what I grew up eating in Louisville) before heading back to the house to hang out with their doggo Darla.

On Sunday morning Chris made us some INCREDIBLE omelets with some kind of Cincinnati sausage with rolled oats, broccoli, tomatoes and avocado…seriously amazing. We hung out a little bit taking some more photos with Darla and Dani, then had to take off back to Nashville! It was a short trip – too short – but it was great to finally see their house and hang out with them even for just a day. So excited for their upcoming nuptials! Congratulations Danielle and Chris! Felicidades Danielle y Chris!
