| Our house has literally turned into a knitting / crocheting factory – Paula has been working like a madwoman on her neck warmers that she is selling ($20 for adult size, $15 for kid size), her mom started up another crocheting project for me and Javier and Cora and I joined the fun and bought looms for ourselves so we can try our hands at making neck warmers too. Since Christmas, any time we have some down time we all just pull out the looms and yarn is suddenly everywhere (to the delight of the dogs, who are driving us crazy running away with the skeins). So far Paula has finished 13 of the cuellos, some of which Maca and I modeled so you all can see how they are turning out (and then hopefully you’ll all want to buy one!). If you are interested in buying one of these or putting in an order for certain colors, leave a comment below! Below are a few photos of the cuellos on and off necks, plus a few shots of the knitting frenzy in the house. | Nuestra casa es literalmente una fabrica de crochet / tejido – Paula ha estado trabajando como loca en los cuellos que está vendiendo por $20 (adultos) y $15 (niños). Su mama comenzó otro proyecto de crochet para nosotros y Cora y yo compramos unos telares para nosotras mismas para probar nuestros talentos tejiendo cuellos tambien. Desde la navidad, cada vez que tenemos tiempo libre todos empiezan a tejer, y la lana de repente está por todas partes (lo que hace a Chupete y Choripan muy felices!). Hasta ahora, Paula ha terminado 13 cuellos, algunos de lo cual Maca y yo nos pusimos para sacar fotos para que ustedes puedan ver como resultaron (y esperamos que ustedes compren uno!). I love the dog neck warmers! Should be a market for those! (and the regular ones of course).
I love the brown one that you are modeling, Leslie! If it has not been sold yet I may *need* it! I would love to have one made too. What do you think about black with bright blue and/or purple??

A mi me encanta el cuello moreno que Leslie lleva. Es posible que yo voy a *necesitarlo* si todavia tenerlo! Me encantaria hacerlo otro cuello tambien. Que piensan ustedes sobre un cuello de negro con azul y/o morado?? [I tried… I’m sure this is very broken Spanish, ha!]
