| Our night was simple and hilarious. Maca spent the whole day cutting out pictures of things we like from magazines for our photobooth backdrop – pictures of things like snow, dogs, lights, food, people laughing, etc. She also made little signs that said “Rodriguez McClure,” “amor hope paz” and “Feliz año nuevo.” We spent most of the evening laughing, drinking margaritas and posing in front of the photobooth while listening to cumbia music. Maca had her boyfriend Alex on video chat the whole time so he could party with us (which explains the number of photos she has with a computer in her hands). At midnight my dad poured the champagne and we all gave hugs and kisses and had another little cumbia dance party before we drove home. It was a great night!! Happy new year from our family to yours! Maca pasó el dia cortando imagenes de revistas para colocar en la pared para el photobooth – imagenes como nieve, perros, luces, comida, gente riendo etc. Ella tambien hizo señales que dijeron “Rodríguez McClure,” “amor hope paz,” y “feliz año nuevo.” Pasamos la noche riendo, bebiendo margaritas y posando en frente de la camara mientras escuchamos musica. Alex, el pololo de la Maca, estaba en el computador en video chat y entonces estaba en la fiesta con nosotros (que explica la cantidad de fotos de Maca con el computador en sus manos). A la media noche mi papa abrió la champaña y todos se dieron abrazos y besos unos a otros y tuvimos una pequeña fiesta de baile escuchando cumbia antes de salir para nuestra casa.
