Five Points Pizza!

For all of you pizza lovers out there, there is a relatively new pizza joint in East Nashville that has some of the best pizza pies around. Thanks to our friend Art we learned about a Five Points Pizza and the deliciousness they offer, both in pizza and their selection of yummy brews. Seriously, pizza and beer! It’s basically our go-to meal after we’ve had a long day…or week.

Para todos esos amantes de las pizzas, hay un lugar relativamente nuevo de pizzas en el Este de Nashville que tiene muy buenas combinaciones. Gracias a nuestro amigo Art, supimos sobre Five Points Pizza y las delicias que ofrecen, tanto en la seleccion de pizzas y las deliciosas cervezas. En serio, pizza y cerveza! Es practicamente nuestra primera opcion despues de un dia largo…o una semana larga.

We have been to Five Points Pizza a couple of times. The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are made just the way you want (Leslie, for example, won’t eat cheese on her pizza so we get it with half no cheese), and all of the above at a good price. We love getting the Supreme pizza (green peppers, mushrooms, italian sausage, pepperoni, onions) and if we are really hungry…..we get garlic knots! Last time we got really lucky because the kitchen staff made an extra batch of knots and they gave them to us free of charge! Now I’m not saying if you go in you’ll get free garlic knots, but we really appreciated that they gifted them to us instead of throwing them out. That also guaranteed that we had plenty of pizza left over for lunch the next day…perfection.

Hemos ido a Five points pizza un par de veces. Los ingredientes son frescos, las pizzas son hechas como tu quieres (por ejemplo Leslie no come queso en su pizza asi que podemos pedir mitad sin queso), y todo esto a un buen precio. Nos encanta pedir la pizza suplema (pimiento verde, champinones, salchicha italiana, peperoni y cebolla) y si tenemos mucha hambre….pedimos tambien nudos de ajo! La ultima vez tuvimos suerte porque la gente de la cocina hizo una porcion extra de nudos y nos la dieron gratis! Lo que no quiere decir que te daran algo gratis si vas, pero estabamos muy contentos de que nos dieron los nudos a nosotros en vez de botarlos a la basura. Eso tambien garantizo que tuvieramos pizza extra para el almuerzo del otro dia…..perfecto!
