This is our last installment of our very detailed documentation of our trip to Denver!! It’s’ taken us 2 weeks to cover everything – which shows how jam-packed the weekend really was.

Este es el ultimo post sobre nuestra documentacion detalla de nuestro viaje a Denver!! Nos ha tomado 2 semanas para cubrir todo, lo que muestra lo ocupado que fue el fin de semana.

On our last day in Denver, Camala invited us to go have breakfast at the restaurant where she works: The Breakfast Queen II. We were looking for good local / neighborhood spots to try out while we were in Denver so this was a perfect place for our last meal. This place was fantastic: regulars coming in and out, servers greeting them by their names…exactly the kind of place we were hoping to find.

En nuestro ultimo dia en Denver, Camala nos invito a desayunar al restaurante donde ella trabaja: El Breakfast Queen II o traducido La Reina del Desayuno II. Nosotros queriamos visitar un lugar que fuera local y “del barrio” en Denver asi que este era el lugar perfecto para nuestra ultima comida en Colorado. El lugar es fantastico: con clientes regulares, todos saludandose usando sus nombres, todos conocidos….exactamente el tipo de lugar que esperabamos encontrar.

We were so looking forward to have a good family meal and when Camala told us about this place we gathered the troops and headed that way for brunch. We all tried different items from the menu and everything was great; I tried a breakfast burrito, some people ordered omeletts, others french toast and bacon…..it didnt matter what was ordered because everything was home made tasty! and there was SO MUCH food!

Queriamos tener una comida en familia y cuando Camala nos conto sobre este lugar juntamos las tropas y nos fuimos a tomar desayuno. Todos ordenamos diferentes cosas del menu y todo estaba muy rico; yo probe el burrito de desayuno, algunos pidieron omeletts, otros tostadas francesas con tocino…no importaba que ordenabas porque todo era hecho en casa y delicioso! y ls porciones era enormes!

Camala took good care of us and made great recommendations for us first-timers. The restaurant had a big frame on the wall with a Flex Magazine issue featuring Camala -she told us a customer had it made and gave it to her – it was pretty sweet!! Someone had a copy of the actual issue and Leslie got a picture with Camala holding it on our way out. We were really so awed by her athletic abilities – Leslie’s been talking about getting back to the gym etc. etc. since we got back. Not to mention she is all-around awesome and we’re happy she and Andrew are together.

Camala se encargo de tratarnos muy bien y nos dio buenas recomendaciones.El restaurant tenia un marco gigante en la muralla con las paginas de la revista Flex donde le hicieron un reportaje a Camala – ella nos dijo que un cliente se lo regalo – es muy bekan! Alguien tenia una copia de la revista asi que Leslie se saco una foto con Camala y la revista antes de irnos. Quedamos muy impresionados con su capacidad atletica – Leslie no ha parado de hablar sobre volver al gimnacio desde que volvimos…..Sin mencionar que ella es una chica espectacular y estamos felices que ella y Andrew estan juntos.

This brunch was the best way to finish our visit to Denver. We were there for just a couple of days but we enjoyed so much that we cant stop talking about going back…..

Este desayuno fue la mejor manera de terminar nuestra visita a Denver. Estuvimos solo un par de dias pero lo disfrutamos mucho y no podemos parar de hablar sobre volver pronto….
