The summer is over and we are back to our regular routine. Leslie started classes this past Wednesday and I…well, I keep working (no more free summer for me). The summer went by sooo fast, but that is ok because we have plenty of things to look forward to. My family is coming to visit at the end of the year, we have a wedding to shoot in Nashville and a wedding to attend in Denver (first time for me in Colorado, I am excited!). Soon our screened porch will be finished – we will make sure to share pictures – and the weather will get cooler so we can enjoy it outside (Leslie is really excited about this – she’s team winter, remember?).

El verano se termino y estamos de vuelta a nuestra rutina . Leslie volvio a clases el Miercoles y yo…bueno, yo sigo trabajando (no mas veranos libres para mi). El verano paso suuuper rapido, pero esta bien porque tenemos varias cosas interesantes por venir. Mi familia nos viene a visitar a fin de ano, tenemos que sacar fotos en un matrimonio en Nashville y somos invitados en otro en Denver (primera vez que visitare Colorado, que emocion). Pronto el porch estara terminado – sacaremos fotos – y el tiempo se pondra mas fresco asi que podremos difrutar afuera (Leslie esta muy contenta con eso – ella prefiere el frio que el calor)

We don’t think the dogs have noticed the difference though. They are just enjoying the weather outside while improving their wrestling talents. Choripan is a tough puppy and doesn’t let Chupete scare him, despite the difference in strength. Choripan soon will have surgery, as our dog trainer Kip would say: “He is getting his second brain removed.” It will be interesting to see if losing the family jewels will make a difference in his temperament….Chupete hopes so…

No creemos que los perros noten la diferencia. Ellos disfrutan afuera mientras practican sus llaves y movimientos de lucha. Choripan es choro y no se deja asustar por Chupete, no le importa la diferencia de fuerza. Choripan pronto entrara a pabellon, como nuestra entrenadora de perros diria: “le van a sacar el segundo cerebro”. Va a ser interesante ver si la perdida de las joyas de la familia afectaran su temperamento….Chupete espera que si…

Also, this coming Saturday Leslie has a show a Puckett’s in Leiper’s Fork!! It will be super fun and we will take pictures and make videos….duuuh!! Looking around the internet I found a music video we made for one of Leslie’s songs “Meo Lindo” a few years ago – check it out! (We had a lot of fun doing this – and wasted a lot of time too haha – but it turned out pretty funny).

Tambien este Sabado, Leslie tiene un show en un local llamado Puckett’s en Leiper’s Fork! Va a ser super entretenido y sacaremos fotos y haremos videos…..obvio! Mientras veia videos en internet, me tope con un video musical que hicimos para una de las canciones de Leslie, “Meo Lindo”, hace un par de anos – veanlo! (Lo pasamos bien haciendolo – perdimos harto tiempo – pero quedo gracioso)
