| A couple of weeks ago Javier and I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon with friends at Arrington Vineyard. Like the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Arrington Vineyards was another Nashville favorite that Javier and I had never visited in our years living in this lovely city. Arrington is about a 40 minute drive outside of town and we headed out there with our friends Justin, Kacie, Julie, and Ben. Kacie and Justin packed a lovely picnic for us and we claimed the last picnic table under the shade on the big hill that overlooks the vines – it was a perfect setting! | Un par de semana atras, Javier y yo pasamos una linda tarde de Doming con un grupo de amigos en los vinedos Arrington. Como la sinfonia en el centro Schermerhorn, los vinedos Arrington es otro lugar favorio de la gente de Nashville que Javier y yo nunca habiamos visitado a pesar de vivir tantos anos en esta linda ciudad. Arrington queda a mas o menos 40 minutos de la ciudad asi que junto con nuestros amigos Justin, Kacie, Julie y Ben salimos rumbo a la vina. Kacie y Justin prepararon un picnic genial para todos y justo pudimos asegurarnos la ultima mesa bajo la sombra. Nos sentamos en la colina con vista a las vinas – un lugar perfecto! |
| We bought a couple of bottles of Arrington wine and spent the afternoon eating cheese, crackers, wine, and a bunch of other tapas-style treats while we enjoyed the company and scenery. There was a picturesque birthday party next to us that offered us cupcakes as we were leaving and Ben took advantage of the free dessert – a great ending to the afternoon! Thanks to Justin and Kacie for organizing the outing – we want to go back soon! | Compramos un par de botellas de vino en Arrington y nos pasamos la tarde comiendo queso, galletas, tomando vino y picoteando en un monton de cositas ricas mientras disfrutabamos de la compania y el paisaje. Al lado nuestro un grupo de gente estaba celebrando un cumpleanos e manera muy pintoresca y nos ofrecieron cupcakes, lo cual Ben no dudo en aprovechar – postre gratis! que mejor manera de terminar la tarde! Gracias a Justin y Kacie por organizar este picnic – queremos volver a ir pronto! |
