| Our friend Ashley (not really spelled Aiyeshley – but that’s another story for probably never) is moving to D.C. this week! I still can’t believe she’s leaving – well, it’s very believable that she got a great job and will be happy in D.C. with her boyfriend Dylan, but I can’t believe she won’t be in Nashville anymore! I’ve known Ashley since 2009 – we met back in an immigration class when I was still in the CLAS masters program. She’s had a helping hand in coordinating 90% of the happy hours I’ve been to ever since, whether its Margarita Thursday, Village Pub (any day) or some other happy hour location. She’s also my fellow kindle fanatic (that’s right – we scour etsy for kindle covers and share our finds and coveted the Kindle Fire together…until Dylan went and bought one for her and now it’s just me coveting her Kindle Fire…sigh) and she’s also an avid Harry Potter fan, so you can imagine how we felt when this happened: | Nuestra amiga Ashley (no se deletrea Aiyeshley – pero esa es otra historia) se muda a Washington D.C. esta semana! No puedo creer que se va – bueno, es facil de de creer que encontro un bueno trabajo y sera feliz en D.C. con su pololo Dylan, pero no puedo creer que no estara en mas en Nashville! Conozco a Ashley desde el 2009 – nos conocimos en una clase sobre immigracion cuando yo tovai estaba en el programa de estudios latinoamericanos. Ella ha ayudado a coordinar el 90% de los happy hours que yo he participado, ya sea Martes de Margarita, Village Pub (cualquier dia), o algun otro lugar para happy hour. Ella tambien es (como yo) fanatica del Kindle (si! – nosotras buscamos fundas para kindle en etsy como locas y compartimos lo que encontramos y babeamos sobre el Kindle Fire…hasta que Dylan le compro uno y ahora soy solo yo babeando por el Kindle Fire…) y tambien le encanta Harry Potter, asi que se pueden imaginar como me senti cuando paso esto: |
