East C.A.N. Adoptables

Anyone out there looking for an adorable, sweet, out-of-the-puppy-stage doggo? Check out these adoptable dogs below from East C.A.N. (Community Action Network). East CAN is an invaluable organization for East Nashville. Part of what they do is find foster homes and eventually permanent homes for abandoned dogs in the area. They are also enormously helpful in connecting neighbors around East Nashville whenever people lose their dogs or whenever they find dogs that appear to be lost. Their facebook feed is always full of posts of dogs they found and are trying to reconnect with owners, photos of lost dogs that owners are trying to find and dogs that are up for adoption or that need temporary foster homes. It’s really amazing and it’s great to know that we have this organization on our side of town in case anything ever happens to our doggos. Yesterday East CAN hosted an adoption event and pie throwing contest ($5 for 2 pies, all proceeds went to East CAN) and our friend Mary was there to help out with the dogs so we went to visit. Mary was hanging out with Betsy Lou, a sweet sweet girl doggo that I really can’t believe hasn’t been adopted yet! She was an angel the whole day – and of course she loved Javi. I got a few pics of Betsy Lou and of some of the other adoptable doggos of East CAN – Tator Tot and I think the other one was Sophia. Seriously – if anyone out there is looking for a dog that is already out of the puppy stage and ready to love and be loved…any of these three would be perfect!! Alguien esta buscando un perrito que sea dulce, adorable, y ya fuera de la etapa de cachorro? Denle una mirada a estos perros listos para adopcion de East C.A.N. (Community Action Network) East CAN es una gran organizacion para el Este de Nashville. Parte de lo que hacen es encontrar casas temporales mientras le buscan hogares permanents a perros que han sido abandonados en esta area. Tambien son muy buena ayuda cuando se necesita conectar a los vecinos en el Este de Nashville cuando un perro se ha perdido o cuando encuentran un perro solo en la calle que parece haberse escapado de su dueno. Su pagina de facebook siempre ofrece informacion que intenta reconectar a perros que han encontrado con sus duenos, fotos de perros que se han perdido, o fotos de perros que estan listos para ser adoptados o necesitan un casa temporal. Es incredible y tambien genial tener una organizacion como esta en este lado de la ciudad en caso que algo les pase a nuestros perros. Ayer, East CAN tuvo un evento de adopcion y competencia de lanzamiento de pateles ($5 por 2 pasteles, todo lo recaudado fue para East CAN) y nuestra amiga Mary estaba alli para ayudar con los perros asi que fuimos a visitar. Mary estaba encargada de cuidar a Betsy Lou, una perrita muy dulce que todavia no puedo creer que no ha sido adoptada! Se porto como un angel todo el dia – y por supuesto que le gusto Javi. Tambien saque algunas fotos a algunos de los otros perros en adopcion de East CAN – Tator Tot y creo que la otra era Sophia. En serio – si alguien esta buscando un perro que no sea cachorro y listo para darte carino y darle carino…cualquiera de estos perros seria perfecto!! This is Tater Tot. I wish I had more photos of this fella because he was ADORABLE and so photogenic – look at that smile! haha – whoever adopts Tater Tot will never have to be sad again – they just have to look at his little face and everything will be right in the world!

And this is Sophia – again I wish I had more photos of her because she’s beautiful! She’s got these cute little gray freckles on her nose and gorgeous golden eyes. I want her too!!

Y esta es Sophia – de nuevo, me gutaria tener mas fotos porque es muy linda! Tiene unas pecas grises en su nariz y unos ojos dorados muy lindos. La quiero a ella tambien!!
