Our Ferocious Pups

Ok they’re actually quite gentle and sweet (once they calm down and stop jumping up on you to say hello – we’re still working on the “off” command) – but these photos might suggest otherwise if you didn’t know Chupi and Chori. On Sunday we spent the whole day working on bookshelves and painting things in Javier’s workshop downstairs (which opens outside to the backyard) so the doggos played the entire day in the yard. They fought over a plastic bottle the whole afternoon – now we know what to get them for a toy instead of buying those stupid stuffing-free animals at PetSmart. They went nuts over this thing. While I was waiting for various office items to dry in the sun (we had sun for once!!) I shot these photos of the pups….being themselves. Fighting. They love each other and they love to fight – a brotherly match made in heaven.

Chori was SO exhausted at the end of the day - he normally naps for a couple hours during the day inside but he wrestled with Chupi for about 6 hours straight! Here he was falling asleep sitting up
