| Our vacation is over. Tomorrow we are going back to work, school and the regular schedule…it’s inevitable, but looking back we had a blast and our “batteries” have been recharged! | Nuestras vacacioes han terminado. Manana volvemos al trabajo, las clases, y la rutina regular…es inevitable, pero mirando hacia atras lo pasamos muy bien y nuestras baterias han sido recargadas! |
| Our last meal with my family was a nice lunch at Monell’s where Maca was able to get her fix of fried chicken and we all enjoyed the comfort of good southern food. Perfect for a long trip back to Chile. I talked to my family through Skype and they arrived safely, all their luggage arrived without problems, our dog Almendra was super excited to see (and smell) everyone and they went, right away, to eat a good asado in Santiago. | La ultima comida con mi familia fue un almuerzo muy tranquilo en Monell’s donde la Maca se saco el antojo de comer pollo frito y todos disfrutamos de los sabores de buena comida surena. Perfecto para un largo viaje de vuelta a Chile. Hable con mi familia por Skype y llegaron todos bien, sus maletas no tuvieron incoveniente, nuestra perra Almendra estaba muy feliz de ver (y oler) a todos, y fueron de inmediato a comerse un buen asado en Santiago. |
| Having my family here for three weeks was the best gift we could ask for and we are still enjoying it; my sister Paula is still here for a couple of more days! We are not doing as many activities as we were when the whole gang was here, but we are having a good time relaxing, watching movies, knitting (not me), spending time together and just preparing for a very busy semester. | Haber tenido a mi familia aqui por tres semanas fue el mejor regalo que pude haber recibido y todavia lo estoy disfrutando; mi hermana Paula aun esta aqui por un par de dias mas! No estamos haciendo muchas cosas como cuando la familia entera estaba aca, pero lo estamos pasando bien con solo relajarnos, ver peliculas, tejiendo (no yo), pasando el tiempo juntos y preparandonos para un semestre muy ocupado. |

haha it basically is…it’s the most beautiful manor…you can go upstairs while you wait for your table and tour the rooms filled with antiques. You’d LOVE it. Next time you come to Nashville!!
