After several weekends having to either work or attend weddings we had a weekend to do whatever we wanted! That’s not to say that we don’t enjoy weddings, but some free time is always nice to enjoy. We had an awesome deal from LivingSocial – 2 tickets to any 3D movie for $4….yeah not bad at all! Leslie has been wanting me to go watch the last Harry Potter movie since it came out so we went to the movies! The movie was great, waaaay better than the 1st movie for the 7th book and we had a funny experience that I think is worth sharing.

Luego de varios fines de semana trabajando o asistiendo a matrimonios po rfin tuvimos un fin de semana para hacer lo que quisieramos! Lo que no quiere decir que no disfrutamos los matrimonios, pero tener tiempo libre siempre es agradable. Hace tiempo habiamos comprado un LivingSocial – 2 entradas al cine para cualquier pelicula 3D por $4 dolares….nada mal! Leslie hace tiempo queria que fueramos a ver la ultima Harry Potter, practicamente desde que salio, asi que fuimos al cine! La pelicula es muy buena, muuuuuucho mejor que la primera parte del septimo libro y tambien tuvimos una experiencia divertida que se merece ser compartida.

We got to the theater early enough to make sure we would get good seats and of course when we got into the movie we were the only ones there. So we picked the perfect spot in the middle, not too low not too high…a great view.

Llegamos al cine con suficiente tiempo para asegurarnos un buen asiento y claro, cuando entramos a la sala eramos los unicos. Asi que escogimos nuestros asientos perfectos, en el medio, no muy abajo, no muy arriba…se veia la pantalla genial.

The next person that got into the movie saw all but 2 seats were open, so she looked around, crossed the room, came back, went up and down and found her perfect seat..RIGHT IN FRONT OF US! Seriously lady? Luckily she wasn’t very tall so no big deal. 5 more people came in after a few minutes, and found seats in the back. Next, 3 girls…also looking for good seats (since the stupid room was practically empty it wasn’t hard to find a good spot) and they found it…….right next to us, no seat in between, no, they wanted to make it cozy…it was unbelievable. It wasn’t that we were actually mad that people sat next to us when the whole theater was OPEN, it just seemed so ridiculous that they couldn’t even leave one seat in between! ANd the girl next to Leslie was coughing and hacking through the whole movie…but we enjoyed the movie and watching it 3D added some extra fun to it.

La proxima persona en entrar a la sala vio todo vacio except 2 asientos, los nuestros, asi que miro, se cruzo para un lado, volvio para el otro, subio y bajo hasta que encontro el asiento perfecto….JUSTO AL FRENTE DE NOSOTROS! En serio? Por suerte no era muy alta asi que no nos tapo. 5 personas mas llegaron y encontraron sus asientos en la parte de atras. Luego, 3 mujeres ….tambien buscan un buen puesto (ya que la sala estaba practicamente vacia no era dificil encontrar algo) y lo encotraron….justo al lado de nosotros., sin asiento vacio en medio, no , directamente al lado parece que tenian frio o algo asi….increible. No estabamos enojados que la gente se sentara cerca de nosotros, pero con la sala vacia parecia ridiculo que no hubiesen dejado un asiento vacio entre medio por lo menos! Para peor la mujer al lado de Leslie tosia durante la pelicula…pero no dejamos que nos arruinara la pelicula, la disfrutamos y verla en 3D le daba un toque especial.  

After the movie we got some frozen yogurt at Lucy’s Yoghurt. We like going there – Lucy is really nice and funny and we get to use our “punchy” card (as Lucy would call it). Of course the frozen yogurt was delicious. We went back home and reunited with the dogs and since we had so much fun it was only fair to share the fun with Chupete and Choripan, so we went to the dog park! We hopped in the car without telling them where we were going, but when Leslie told Choripan we were going to the dog park he FREAKED OUT!!!

Despues de la pelicula fuimos a tomar yoghurt helado a Lucy’s Yoghurt. Nos gust air ahi porque Lucy es muy simpatica y divertida y podemos usar nuestra tarjeta punchy punchy (como Lucy le llama). El helado estaba riquisimo. Volvimos a casa a buscar a los perros y ya que nosotros lo habiamos pasado tan bien era justo compartir la entretencion con Chupete y Choripan, asi que los llevamos al parquet de perros! Nos subimos al auto sin decirles donde ibamos, pero cuando Leslie de dijo a Chori que ibamos al parquet el Chori se volvio loco!!!

DOG PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the end of the day we were all a little tired and hungry so after we fed Chupi and Chori and we decided to get feed ourselves some pretzel sandwiches from the Village Pub! Leslie got the italian sausage and I got the Jamaican pork, both amazingly good as usual. Beers and pretzel sandwiches on Saturday evening is a pretty good combination. Plus we can take the dogs with us, perfect! We really do love having such an awesome local pub literally a 5 minute walk from our front door that our pups can enjoy too. All in all, a pretty good way to spend our free Saturday afternoon!

Al final del dia estabamos todos cansados y con hambre, asi que despeus de darle de comer al Chupi y al Chori decidimos irnos a comer unas pretzel sandwichesal Village Pub! Leslie se pidio el de longaniza italiana y yo el de cerdo Jamaicano, los dos buenisimos como siempre. Cervez y sandwiches en pretzel un Sabado en la noche es Buena combinacion. Mas encima se peuden traer los perros, perfecto! Nos encanta tener un pub a solo 5 minutos caminando desde casa y que los perros tambien pueden disfrutar. Despues de todo, una muy buena manera de disfrutar nuestro Sabado libre!
