I feel like way too much has happened to write a proper update, so I’ll post some highlights from the last month so we can catch up in one post and then *hopefully* stay up-to-date from here on out! Here goes…over the last month:We made 12 rolls of sushi at my parents’ house so they can experience the sushi craze we’re going through!

Siento que mucho ha pasado como para escribirlo, asi que pondre algunos de los puntos altos del mes para poder ponerlos al dia y ojala poder mantenerlos al dia de aqui en adelante! Agui va…el mes pasado:Hicimos 12 rollos de sushi en casa de mis papas para que se unieran a nuestra obsesion de hacer sushi!

I sang with my dad at a concert at Vanderbilt University featuring songs of protest – we performed Pete Seeger’s “If I had a Hammer.”

Cante con mi papa en un concierto de canciones de protesta en Vanderbilt – cantamos la cancion de Pete Seeger “Si tuviera un martillo”

We went to the Second Presbyterian Second Stages talent show – it was awesome!

St. Paul and the Broken Bones played a short set at Grimey’s after their record release and I went with the rest of HH to catch it – and it was amazing, per usual.

We tried a new way of making homemade pizza – by folding the dough over and making DELICIOUS calzones. WOW.

Humming House did a taping with Zuus Country for their On the Rise segment – fun times!

We bought a new mattress!!! It’s amazing! Chupi also approves.

Josh had a bonfire and burned his Christmas tree at his house, and we played an epic game of Story Wars

Josh organizo una fogata para quemar su arbol de navidad, y jugamos Guerra de Historias que fue epico.

Humming House played a sold out show at Exit/In in Nashville with the Delta Saints – it was a blast

I.C. Will came to town for his last recording session before the release of his new album. I sang a hook on one of his songs and we did a photo shoot.

Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes did a 24-hour live stream party at Daniel’s house to celebrate their record release (Kid Tiger) and Justin and I went over there for an hour to hang – check out their new album now!

I went on tour for 11 days, including a stop at SXSW and my first-ever trip to NOLA, for all of 15 hours.

Fue a un tour por 11 dias con pasada por SXSW en Austin y mi primer viaje a Nueva Orleans, for 15 horas.

It was very cold in Michigan…

me and Justin with our friend Paul who lives in Austin – we all met studying abroad in London back in the summer of 2005! 

Meanwhile, Javi spent extra time with the doggos while I was gone to make up for my absence. Awwww

Javier also tended to the outdoor and indoor gardens – the plants are thriving!

Once I arrived back home, the first day of spring came and went and we had our first bonfire / outdoor hangout of the season in our backyard

We hung out at the fam’s house and cheered on the CARDS for March Madness!

Pasamos tiempo con la familia y apoyamos a los Cardenas en el torneo nacional de basquetbol!

Ok…those are the noteworthy things that we’ve been up to over the last month. Now that we’re all caught up, hopefully we can keep it that way in April!
