March Madness

March Madness is not only exciting for basketball fans, it is super exciting for Chupi and Chori!!!!!! Of course, they don’t actually know what is going on (proof: they are napping like champions while the Louisville Cardinals play their game against Colorado State.) Here at home we root for the Louisville Cardinals. Leslie grew up in Louisville, KY and her family had UofL season tickets for 16 years, so the whole McClure family always roots for the Cards. So just like most people in the US, we filled out our brackets…and so did Chupi and Chori!! And they have made VERY interesting choices…so here we go!

March Madness (el torneo nacional de basquetbol universitario) no es solo un tiempo emocionante para los fanáticos del basquetbol, es muy emocionante para Chupi y Chori!!!!!! Claro, ellos en verdad no tienen idea que pasa (prueba: están durmiéndose una siesta profesional mientras los Cardenales de Louisville juegan su partido contra Colorado State). Aquí en casa le vamos a los Cardenales, Leslie creció en Louisville, KY y su familia tuvieron entradas para todos los partidos de la temporada por 16 anos, así que la familia McClure completa le va a los Cardenales. Así que como la mayoría de la gente en los Estados Unidos, llenamos nuestros cuadros del torneo…y también lo hicieron Chupi y Chori!! Y han hecho algunas elecciones MUY interesantes….así que aquí van.

Chupete’s braket: He was the only one in the family who did not pick Louisville to win the whole thing and his bracket is pretty busted since Memphis lost and he had picked them to win. Also, Wisconsin was a final four team for him and they are out. We think he was trying to call all the upsets, and he actually got a couple. He called Oregon over OSU and FGCU over Georgetown. Smart pup!

El cuadro de Chupete: El fue el unico que no eligió a Louisville como campeón, y su cuadro ya esta medio en ruinas porque Memphis perdió y el los había elegido como campeones. También Wisconsin era uno de sus 4 finales y están afuera. Pensamos que el trato de elegir todas las posibles sorpresas, y le apunto a un par. Eligió a Oregon sobre OSU y a FGCU sobre Georgetown. Inteligente el Chupi!

Chori’s bracket: As I said, he picked Louisville to win. His bracket is also in rough shape, UNLV and Kansas St. were final four teams for him, but at least the Cards are still in for him. For some reason, both dogs picked FGCU over Georgetown…maybe they knew something we didn’t. Here’s a video below of our method for getting the dogs to fill out brackets…these were re-enactments so Chori’s final pick is actually wrong, but you get the idea.

El cuadro de Chori: Como dije, Chori eligió a Louisville como campeón. Su cuadro tambien esta un poco complicado, UNLV y Kansas State eran 2 de sus 4 finales y ya perdieron, pero por lo menos los Cardenales siguen vivos. Por alguna razón, ambos perros eligieron a FGCU sobre Geogetown…tal vez sabían algo que nosotros no. Aquí va un video de como hicieron sus elecciones….el video es solo para demostrar, no fueron sus elecciones reales, pero para que tengan una idea.
